Anyone who attended GigaDivas Summer Camp (in any year) and was 14 or
younger on January 1, 2005 is eligible to be on the 2005-2006
GigaDivas Robot Team.
What
We will be working on the FIRST Lego
League 2005 Challenge: Ocean Odessey. There will be robot challenges
and a research project to be presented at one or more tournaments.
We hope to compete at the First State FIRST Lego League Tournament at
the University of Delaware.

The details of the FIRST Lego League Challenge will be released on
September 12th. Check the FIRST
Lego League site again that day.
Where and When
We will begin meeting once a week in September and October, usually from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday. As we get closer
to tournaments, we will probably meet twice a week some weeks.
FIRST suggests meeting two or three times per week for two to three
hours per meeting. Since we will be meeting less often, some work
(especially on the research project) will need to be done outside of
our meetings.
Cost
There is no cost to join the team. Wilkes and GigaDivas have paid for
the registrations and the equipment. There will be some cost
associated with attending tournaments.
